United Rugby Championship: Treviso wants to get back on top, the Zebras start winning

The fifteenth day of the United Rugby Championship will take place this weekend and between tomorrow evening and Saturday afternoon Zebre Parma and Benetton Treviso will also take the field. With very different goals and hopes, despite the fact that they both didn’t win for long.

The Zebras have not yet won this season and success has been missing for more than 12 months and they will try to stop this streak in Scotland. It will not be easy for Canna and his teammates, busy on the pitch of the Glasgow Warriors , with the Scots launched in fourth position in the standings and who want to consolidate their place in the playoffs.

Treviso, on the other hand, has the chance to regain success on Saturday in Monigo, when the Irish from Connacht arrive . Benetton slipped to 14th position, with the playoff zone 13 points away. Marco Bortolami’s boys, therefore, will have to find the strength and the right mentality in this season finale to move up the rankings and try to snatch a place in the quarter-finals.

Not an easy hypothesis, but one that must start from the challenge against the Galway boys. Connacht are currently tenth, they are not an easy opponent, but certainly at home they are not an unbeatable opponent. Treviso finds all its national teams after the commitments of the Six Nations and will have to aim for the full loot to bring the noble areas of the standings closer together.
