Tirreno-Adriatico 2022: program, schedules, TV, streaming. The calendar of the 7 stages

From 7 to 13 March the UCI World Tour circuit re-proposes the Tirreno-Adriatico, one of the most popular races in Italy now in its fifty-seventh edition. Seven stages for a total of over 1,100 kilometers from Lido di Camaiore to San Benedetto del Tronto await some of the best runners in the world, including 2021 winner Tadej Pogacar.

Peering at the roll of honor you can grasp the greatness of this event, a real springboard to refine the preparation in view of the Milan-Sanremo and beyond . Big names have been able to establish themselves in the “Race of the two seas”, just think of athletes of the caliber of Simon Yates, Primoz Roglic, Nairo Quintana, Vincenzo Nibali and Alberto Contador just to name some of the most recent winners.

This year’s route is very varied, full of different scenarios that stage after stage will reshuffle the cards in view of the general classification. It starts with a short 14-kilometer time trial and then closes the show in grand style with the final walkway in San Benedetto del Tronto; in the middle there are many grim climbs, which the riders will meet often and willingly at the end of the fraction.

Monday 7 March – Stage 1 – Lido di Camaiore-Lido di Camaiore (time trial, 13.9km)
