The 2022 NBA season continues. In the Italian night nine games were played and the show was certainly not lacking. Let’s find out all the results and the best scorers of the day.
An overwhelming 26 points, 19 rebounds and 11 assists Nikola Jokic dragged Denver to a 109-113 away win against Charlotte . In the Nuggets home, the performances of Aaron Gordon (21 points and 7 rebounds) and Will Barton (18 points and 6 rebounds) are also very important, while among the ranks of the Hornets there are the 27 points and 11 rebounds of Miles Bridges and 22 points and 11 assists by LaMelo Ball. Cleveland defeats Orlando and returns to success after three straight losses. Fundamental for the Cavaliers Darius Garland (25 points and 12 assists), Lauri Markkanen (20 points) and Kevin Love (19 points and 7 rebounds). For the Magic the performance of Wendell Carter Jr. (15 points and 12 rebounds) is good, but irrelevant.
Nice away win for Atlanta, which beats Indiana 123-132. Decisive for the Hawks (without Danilo Gallinari) were Bogdan Bogdanovic’s 29 points, Clint Capela ‘s 22 each (plus 15 rebounds) and Kevin Hurter and Trae Young’s 14 points and 16 assists. For the Pacers , however, the 26 of Buddy Hield and the 25 points and 13 assists of Tyrese Haliburton are not enough. Miami takes off in the first half and easily defeats Sacramento 123-100. Excellent performances by Jimmy Butler (27 points and 7 assists) , Bam Adebayo (22 points and 15 rebounds) and Tyler Herro (20 points and 5 rebounds), while the Kings do not need the 21 points and 9 assists by Davion Mitchell.
Surprise success for New York, which beats Chicago 109-104. The performances of RJ Barrett (28 punt) and Alec Burks (27) were fundamental for the Knicks . For the Bulls , however, the great performances of DeMar DeRozan (37 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists) and Zach Lavine (27 points) are excellent, but useless. It takes an overtime between Toronto and Boston to decide the final winner. In the end Nick Nurse’s team wins 115-112 thanks above all to a wild Pascal Siakam with 40 points and 13 rebounds. Marcus Smart ‘s 28 points and 10 rebounds are not enough for the Celtics .
San Antonio resists in the final and takes home the victory against Houston. Excellent game of Dejount Murray (33 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists), but the contributions of Keldon Johnson (21 points and 9 rebounds) and Jakob Poeltl ( 17 points and 13 rebounds) are also fundamental. For Houston , Jalen Green ‘s 30 points and Kevin Porter Jr ‘s 26 points are not enough. In Memphis , a great first half (63-37) is enough to beat Golden State. At home Grizzlies Desmond Bane and 21 Dillon Brooks score 22 points, while among the ranks of the Warriors (still without Steph Curry) there are 25 of Jordan Poole.
In the last match of the day comes the victory at the Oklahoma overtime against Portland (131-134). The 30 points and 8 rebounds of Isaiah Roby, the 28 of Aaron Wiggins and the 23 points and 10 rebounds of Theo Maledon were decisive for the result.
