Motocross, Argentine GP MX2: Jago Geerts ready for the extension, Andrea Adamo is looking for confirmation

After two years of absence, the Argentine Grand Prix for the Motocross World Championship returns. MXGP and MX2 land on South American soil after a week off and two very interesting weekends between England and Italy in Mantua.

As for the cadet category, the situation is quite clear with two men who at the moment appear clearly superior to the others. Leading the standings is the Belgian Jago Geerts (Yamaha), leader of the World Championship after having dominated the scene in the Bel Paese . The Yamaha rider will have to contend again with the Frenchman Tom Vialle (KTM), who crashed violently in the last Italian event when he was at the top of the general classification.

The German Simon Längenfelder (Gas Gas), first in Great Britain, defended himself in Italy and is ready to confirm himself in the Top3 together with the Dutch Kay de Wolf (Husqvarna). The latter have all the credentials to do well together with Andrea Adamo, third in front of his audience after having managed race-2 for a long time . The Gas Gas standard bearer is the best of our compatriots, a trend that looks set to continue in the coming weeks.

MX2, GP Mantova 2022: Jago Geerts also dominates Race-2 and flies in the general classification! Andrea Adamo hits the podium

We await a response from Mattia Guadagnini (Gas Gas), who is struggling in these first competitions of the year . It is certainly not easy to share your box with Längenfelder, born in 2004, who has got off to a great start this 2022 . Argentina could represent the perfect opportunity to restart, the World Cup is still very long and anything can happen.
