Moto2, Pedro Acosta: “When you are in the group you can’t do the lines you want. Experience is needed “


Pedro Acosta expresses his opinion at the end of the first race of the year of the Moto2 World Championship . The KTM rookie completed the Lusail test in twelfth place, a race won by our Celestino Vietti (VR46) ahead of the Iberian Aron Canet (Aspar) and the British Sam Lowes (Marc VDS).

The reigning Moto3 world champion reported to the media as ‘’ reports: “There were people in front who had no rhythm. It was my first race in Moto2 and really the goal was to finish to see what it was like. In spite of everything, I am happy ”.

The Spaniard continued saying: When you are in the group you can’t do the lines you want, but at the first corner they all passed me. I don’t think I would have fought for the podium, but I am convinced that I could have done better. Experience is needed, it’s not like in Moto3 ″.

Acosta, who crashed several times this weekend in that Lusail, is called to make up for it in Indonesia, a track unknown for the protagonists of Moto2. The appointment will be mid-March, as always alongside the protagonists of the MotoGP.
