Ice hockey, ICE League 2021-2022: Val Pusteria greets the regular season with a victory

Val Pusteria’s farewell to the regular season of the ice hockey ICE League 2021-2022 materializes in a victory. This is how the last game of the Italian franchise went this season of the tournament, from which it was eliminated, unlike Bolzano which will play the preplayoffs starting from Wednesday against EC-KAC. Let’s go see how things went.

Ice hockey, ICE League 2021-2022: Tesla Orli Znojmo-Val Pusteria 2-3

In the home of the Czechs, the game, after a first third of the game without a goal, turns out to be sparkling to say the least. After the half hour is a shower of goals: Kristensen for the 0-1 of the Val Pusteria, Matus for the momentary 1-1 of the hosts and then Ahl for the 2-1 of the Czechs who seem able to turn things around.

We enter the third and final stage of the race. Gerlach equalized things with eighteen minutes from the end: here is the 2-2, a result that drags on until the last second, when the siren of the end of the regulation sounds.

It’s overtime. The teams are very tired and the spaces between the wide meshes of the defenses are not lacking, so much so that Harju immediately scores after nineteen seconds, delivering the victory to the Italian team.
