Artistic Swimming, World Series Paris 2022: France and the United States rejoice on the first day

The stage of the World Series of artistic swimming began today in the Georges Vallerey swimming pool in Paris . The international circuit of the tub dance will be engaged in the French capital until Sunday 3 March, despite the numerous absences; today the competitions of technical duo and female free duo were scheduled.

In the technical duo competition, the French hosts rejoice, with one of the youngest couples in the lot: Oriane Jaillardon, born in 2005, and Romane Lunel, 18 next November, win thanks to an overall score of 83.7000. Podium included in little more than one point: Greece, who took the third to last in the water, is in place of honor with Eleni Fragkaki and Krystalenia Gialama (82.7753), third Israel with Shelly Bobritsky and Ariel Nassee (82.4852).

The free duo is instead the prerogative of the United States: the very young Megumi Field , two team golds at the last World Series, and Natalia Vega impose themselves with the score of 85.7667, trimming almost two points to Israel, with Shelly Bobritsky again protagonist but this time together with Nikol Nahshonov (83.8000). Third place instead for France, with Lalie Chassaigne and Sasha Comte , who overtake Greece by two tenths of a point (82.2333).

Artistic swimming, the World Series makes a stop in Paris: many absences, but Italy is in the mixed doubles

No Italy today, which will debut tomorrow with Federica Sala and Nicolò Ogliari in the free solo; the two will also be protagonists in Sunday’s mixed doubles.
