Petrol and diesel: prices do not stop rising

Average gasoline and diesel prices rise further, in continuity with the trend of recent days. The same is true for LPG and methane.

Prices for a full tank of petrol and diesel continue to rise inexorably. With petroleum products in the Mediterranean that closed yesterday with a sharp increase for the fourth consecutive day, today Quotidiano Energia signals further upward maneuvers implemented by the companies on the rates recommended by the institutions on the matter.

In detail, Eni, Q8 and Tamoil rose by 4 cents, IP by 5 cents. Ergo, the increases applied on the national territory on the two fuels are still significantly increasing both in self-service mode and in served mode.

The findings

According to the data processed at 8 yesterday and notified by the operators to the Fuel Price Observatory of the Ministry of Economic Development, the current national average price of petrol in self mode rises to 1.912 euros per liter, compared to 1.896 for the day, with brands positioned between 1.905 and 1.931 euros per liter (no logo 1.897). The average expense to be budgeted in the case of self-contained diesel jumps from 1,770 to 1,788 euros per liter, with companies in the range from 1,780 to 1,805 euros per liter (no logo 1,782).

In relation to the served, the average price charged for gasoline rises from 2,024 to 2,039 euros per liter, with suppliers indicating prices in the range from 1,984 to 2,132 euros per liter (no logo 1,944). The average diesel served goes from 1.904 euros to 1.921 euros per liter with the average prices of the points of sale included between 1.870 and 1.997 euros per liter (no logo 1.828).

Moving on to alternative power supply methods, the cost of LPG records for the umpteenth time an increase and goes from 0.832 to 0.869 per liter (no logo 0.835). Finally, the average price of auto methane rises, reaching a threshold between 1.761 and 1.937 euros per liter (no logo 1.849).
