Electric cars, Abarth launches a survey for the future of its strategy

Abarth is also preparing to embrace the electric car trend, but it needs the support of over 160,000 people from its community.

The new 500 Abarth is expected to debut by the end of 2022 and Stellantis CEO Tavares has already confirmed that the well-known sports brand will become an all-electric company in the next two years.

Through the Abarth Performance Creator, enthusiasts will be able to vote on the best solutions on social channels and contribute to giving life to the models of the future.

The sound of the Asas

The first challenge concerns the sound of the next Abarth, but not that of the exhaust: in fact, three variants of the Asas will be proposed to the community, i.e. the mandatory device that warns pedestrians of the presence of an electric vehicle at low speed.

The three sound themes proposed to the community are called Next Track (inspired by Formula E), Cyber ​​Fun (derived from the world of gaming) and Rock’N’Roar (linked to rock music): the votes obtained on social networks will be crucial for the definition of the final product.

In the future, however, the community will be consulted on the design and driving experience of the new model.
